The Bluto 555 is a small brewpub/nanobrewery brewing system. I've been planning and working on it for about a year and a half, and I'm gonna try to explain and post pics of the build over the next couple of months, at which time it should be ready for it's first test batch.
Like everyone says to anticipate, this has taken me twice as long and cost twice as much as I thought, but I'm really excited about what I think the system can do, and for a 40 year old guy with very little previous engineering and electrical experience, it has been a rewarding experience.
I expect to be able to brew my first test batch in February. So between now and then, I'll make posts as frequently as I'm able to explain how the system is designed to work. Come time for the first test batch, perhaps the blog posts concerning the last 15 months of the Bluto 555 build will be completely up to date.
Wow, it is freaking amazing having found your site. I'm building my own home brewery now and am planning to add either a BCS or a BrewTroller to control it. I'm sure reading your site will be interesting. Cheers!
